Hot in the City

You may not know this but the summers are pretty hot in Texas. Lucky for me, I have my very own pool. I love to relax and escape the heat.
If I kick my feet, it is just like a whirlpool. Everyone is invited to come and join me... just not at the same time. 

Summer Reading with Mommy

Mommy and me have been reading books together. Sometimes I sit in her lap and she reads me the stories and sometimes I read by myself. My favorite book right now is Noah's Ark by Lucy Cousins. I love to look at the animals. They have giraffes, elephants, monkeys and even octupuses. There are two of everything. I like to take the book in the car with me and read it while mommy drives around.

Having the right tools is essential for doing the job correctly. I had to clean up after Daddy accidently knocked mom's planter down with his head. Daddy had to go lay down.

saving for a rainy day

a penny saved is a penny earned. I am starting to save right now, when I am big I will buy a bicycle and new car and a college education, then I will buy mommy and daddy an RV for their retirement.

You may not recognize me in this photo, lately I have been moving very fast and it is hard to capture a clear image of me. Yesterday at the pool, I stood up all by myself and took a few steps.

almost famous

you may not know this but I am pretty well know around here for my curls. People comment on how cute I am and especially about my curls. Mom had me out at Costco the other day and at least 3 people said I was cute. Sometimes they even comment on how cute I am in front of their own kid. I am not bragging I can't help it, Grampa thinks I should get a hair cut. Mommy loves the curls. I need an image consultant. (This picture gives a nice view of my curls) 

learning tricks at the park

I have been going to the park with mommy alot lately, we go on any day when it doesn't rain. Today I went to the park and one of my park friends taught me how to slide on the big swirling slide. It is just like going down the stairs you just turn around and put your feet down first and then you go... wheeeee!!! I did the big slide all by myself. (This picture is from before I knew about the new way to go down the slide) 

my cousin loves me

Gracie came over yesterday and we went to the park. She is a big kid and she likes to play with me.
