Drew was very impressed with the real wood slats in my bed. I think it's a kind of white oak that is rare in some parts of the world. The real benefit is that it's not painted, this way I can chew on it as much as I want. I told this to Drew, because he said that the baby union fought hard to get lead paint out of crips, but there are some babies who think even latex has a downside, which not all grown-ups agree with.
